Oh, my. So much drama in this chapter. I love how everyone is pulling for her and helping to keep things a secret. You can feel the anxiety Alejandro feels trying to hold everything together.

Think I need to delete this chapter, try again, finish this story, then go back and edit starting where it started to go astray.

This is an emotional and sometime scary chapter but you have written it beautifully. You end it with the life of Anna danger but I know she and the baby will make it. It is good she has so much love in her life after all the bad that has happened. I don't see how a mother who loved her so much could have let those men take her.
