Hello Pam
What a beautiful tribute to Joan E.
There are numerous parts to your free style poem that I liked after reading your poem again here is the one to Ah to--
O'er land or sea or air
You always took us there
And gave us such delight.
Now, it's our turn
To say how much we care,
And how you will be missed.

What a sweet tribute to another of our lost members, even if it's just that she's off the site now..You commemorated her legacy and her relationship with you. All of these are special as we miss her as a person and artist.
Great job,
Rhonda

Pam, this is a beautiful heartfelt tribute to Joan. I must confess I did not know her. But through poems like yours, I feel I know this wonderful woman the poet and friend, whose works could take others on beautiful journeys.
Good luck in the contest and with all your writing.
Blessings,
Cindy

This is an exceptional tribute. Nicely worded, but with all sentiments heartfelt, not just a poem.
Finely crafted, beautifully written.
Well done...may she rest in peace.
Best wishes

Another great tribute to a fellow member who everyone seems to hold dear. Being new, I had not heard of her before, but I pray that the Lord will be with her family to comfort them. And that her writings will live on.

Thanks for the review, Erika. I appreciate your comments, and am glad you have been reading the tributes. I remember something similar when I was new in 2015. As you get to know more people over time, they do have an impact on you.

Oh, Pam - such a lovely and all-encompassing offering here! ;) It's emotionally engaging and yet descriptive as well - it's reassuring with the hope of eternity and beautiful with its tribute and heart-warming words... so well done! ;) Thanx for your pen and sharing her with all of us! :) Yvette

Hi Pam,
This is a fine tribute to our friend and fellow poet, Joan E. She will undoubtedly love it, when she stops exploring her new surroundings long enough to read.
I especially like these lines,
"Where He is there,
Taking care of you,
Letting us know
Loving hands are
Guiding you along
This journey
Everlasting."
Nicely penned!
Blessings,
Kimbob

Your poem is as amazingly lovely as the person you have honored. Reading the tributes makes me realize what I have missed, since I was hardly familiar with the multi-talented Joan. Such a moving piece
