Regardless, it is filled (...ful) with emotion. Keep up the spirit. You chose an excellent artwork for your contest entry.

P.S. IMHO ... You will add a punch to your contest presentation if you increase your font size. Methinks this is particularly true for short poems.

    Thank you very much, Mark. I am glad you enjoyed this two line verse for the contest. I do crave solitude sometimes and love to fill it full of poetry. Such a rare thing to accomplish these days. :). I did edit the verse and enlarge the font. It really does add a little something! Thx.

Gosh, we all just need a very healthy dose of that once in a while, don't we? I know I do! ;) I think it's only healthy, though, when it's a choice and not forced on someone... Wonderfully stated, Melissa! ;) Thanx for sharing, my lady, and best of luck! ;)

I think we all feel this way at some time or another. The problem lies in the problem of where does one go to get it. You have a nice smooth poem to enter into the contest. Good rhyme too. I wish you luck.

I really like this two-line poem! You've used some beautiful words to describe a mood and the aspect of solitude, which I also find blissful! I like the use of rhyme with blissful and wistful and mood and solitude.
