Such a beautiful Tanka Gypsy. I know Joan would have loved it too. She was such an artist, from the center out. It seemed to me she did everything with artistic flair. You have used this metaphor so masterfully through every line of the poem, crescendoing in the final line with following light. It is perfect and deserves more than five stars.

Gypsy, this death Haiku is a stunning tribute to our dearly departed Joan. She has helped to mentor me and my writing over the past since I have joined FS so many years ago, She is missed.
