Hello, June,
Beautiful renga chapter. I always love poems about poppies, I have good memories of when I was little playing with them in the fields. Well done!

Fields of bright red to remember the fallen and provide hope for a brighter hopeful future -- well done, Lady June! ;) Thanx for sharing, my lady! ;) :) Yvette

I like that reference to the poppies which makes me think of that famous poem of remembrance. I wonder if the US has a flower for Veterans' Day like the other countries do. To see how nature covers the battlefields certainly incites hope.

Thank you for your insightful comments.

Your poem for the book reads well with a lot of symbolism with poppies. Your art choice is perfect, too. I like the nod to the hope that is still alive even though many military men and women died protecting our freedoms.
Thank you for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

I appreciate your sharing your sentiments. There is always hope at the end of the rainbow. And poppies are a fitting symbol of hope.
