This four-line poem, Tactile Emotions, has the right set up and finds that the feelings of the heart and the feelings of the hands combine well.

Oooh this is a really "pretty" poem with eloquent words that create a dreamy atmosphere. "Velvet whispers that invade my dreams" is a really great line! Good luck in the contest!
Thank you for sharing.

Thanx for your review, Susan -- things are a bit crazy, so the 'shorties' work best these days... Looking forward for March to live out her calling this calendar year: In like a lion, out like a lamb!! ;) :) You take care out there and enjoy the upcoming weekend! ;) Yvette

Hello Yvette.

You certainly met the style standard for the four word poem and the syllable distribution. The meaning is pretty clear and is expressed in surreal, descriptive words. At first, I thought metaphorical, but I changed my mind to surreal.

Good luck in the contest.

You're very welcome Yvette. Short stuff is what I write. I like the "red-pilled" reference. I guess it's me and Neo along with some others. :-)))

You have a good weekend too.

I thought I heard your whisper one lonely night, Yvette. ;) Where you been woman? I missed you and your poetry as well as those almost forgotten stories. It looks like a good day when our dreams like to play. This is a very good and somewhat stirring entry for the Four Line Poem Contest. Thank you for sharing.

Dear yvette, I am so happy to know that you are back, but why did you have to give me a 'think piece' like this, right off the bat?
after some thought I wanted to ask the question are they tactile emotions, or tactile memories?

LOL!! Let's just say I'm back amidst the chaos of life, my lady (grins)... it may be touch and go over the next few weeks, but this is my 'escape' that I've been missing, so I?ll definitely be lurking here and there! ;) :) Thanx so much for stopping by on this one, Suzanna -- have a wonderful day out there! ;) Yvette
