You seem to have nailed a lot of the same reasons that I write. I write late in the evenings as well because I get so bored with the news and programs. Well done on this poem.

I like your poem about expressing your feelings in writing. That is a good thing, so many people let their emotions overflow to everyone. How much better it is to put them down on paper, and that brings release. Good rhyming.
