Hi Allie. Well you had me gripped in this story I was waiting for Jim to come off second best in the shower But he held his grip and managed to avoid a cat scratch or bite
I dont think cats like baths but dogs seem to tolerate them to some extent although my Huskie Bonnie howls during her grooming from the dog person .
A fun story and made me smile .

You bathed a cat? Really? I have had countless cats in my time and I can in all honesty say I have never given a cat bath in my life. Neither, until now, have I ever heard of anyone else doing it. I suppose if they fell into something really horrible or caustic then yes. But otherwise no way.
A dog is of course different. They have little concern for personal hygiene and require our cosmetic attention from time to time. I was totally amazed all the way through this tale. Gripping stuff, but I shan't be telling Paddy (my cat). I am sure he would leave home.

Thank you so much for reading, reviewing and your interesting comments. Many, many years ago when I got my first cat, I was told at the cat hospital to bath them every two or three months. Aww Paddy please don't run away, your daddy will not bath you, I promise.

I remember we inherited three underage kittens, that had lots of fleas that seemed bigger than they were, because they had no mum, we bathed them, poor lirttle mites, they looked like three drowned rats. Well done. Never done a full grown one before. Good job, blessings Roy

I remember we inherited three underage kittens, that had lots of fleas that seemed bigger than they were, because they had no mum, we bathed them, poor lirttle mites, they looked like three drowned rats. Well done. Never done a full grown one before. Good job, blessings Roy
