Dang you're good. Impeccable writing with reason as the foundation. Actually, I think a different understanding of the big bang theory might give you a different conclusion. Think of it as the Big Release Theory and consider Jesus's metaphor of the mustard seed growing. You'll find scientists lining up with the Bible in terms of what, but not yet how. Serious physicists consider evolution myth, which it is. It's so irrational it doesn't pass the giggle test. However, it was very effective in supporting eugenics.

I've some experience with "big releases" as well, and they are never round or routed. Seriously, I am a Christian and I believe in the Bible, but not in strict literal sense. I accept that the awesome mountains we visited last summer in Utah, Wyoming and Northern Arizona took millions of years. That conflicts with some Christians, like those at that Ark Encounter, who maintain there were dinosaurs on the Ark. I'm looking forward to watching the videos in Heaven to sort this all out. Thanks. Was not going to enter this one. But, one evening on the front porch pondering (men my age like to ponder), it connected. My wife says I ponder too much and I should think more. I had to think when I was a young provider. Now, I'm an old Texan/golfer/poet/rv driver. We ponder. Next week, I may write a poem describing the difference...

I loved reading your beautifully written poem. I so agree "Nothing Great Just Evolves". We see His majesty everywhere; the lakes, oceans, sky, the birds in flight, mountains, plains and valleys and yes a baby's cries along with the laughter of all His children. His magnificence is forever around us reminding us of how much we are loved. We need only to knock and the door will be opened to His boundless love.

Thanks! I'm really really glad you liked my poem. I was not going to enter this as, while I am a Christian, I really don't talk about it, but I found the words to be a perfect fit for my level. However, I have never found that a great deal of promotion helps me. I think many members see things from a different angle than I. I am not worried about winning so much as just avoiding watching HGTV or soaps with my wife.
