This is a wonderful speech, I would have been proud to hear my my mom or dad say it. It simply shows the love you have for your daughter and how much you wish the best for her. :) Nicely done. :)

How beautiful, Doug. I love this line: the torch passes and walks
without me, but with you. It actually brought tears to my eyes. And that's an adorable picture of your daughter.

Aw, that will make her eye make-up run, so be careful! That was so lovely, Victor, it will make a lovely speech and have all the ladies reaching for their handkerchiefs. Is it soon? Enjoy with the day. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

A most relevant poem for me this day as my wife has filled up the dining room table and another brought in with old pictures. From our dating in New York thru our life in Texas and vacations around America and beyond with our three angels. It is a great visit to great times, but, as you know, reminders of what once was "my little girl" but is no more are bitter-sweet. Enjoyed it!

Ah! Such a heartfelt rendering from a father to his beloved daughter. Such a special relationship that I treasured with my own father and our daughter treasures with her dad/my husband ...
I appreciate the simplicity of your words/offering.
Your daughter is one lucky lady ...
Thank you for sharing!

Awww, your sweet little girl is getting married? Congratulations, and good luck to her. I know it's hard. Giving your daughter to another man is difficult, but know she will always look to you as her first love.
Great job, my friend,
Rhonda

This sounds like a father missing his daughter now that she has gotten married. He is hoping that the husband will love her and like her changes as much as he did.
Keep writing and stay healthly.

Hello Victortouch,
Nice piece of poetry having impressive phraseology, smooth flow throughout from the beginning to the end, and beautifully depicting its theme - A father's love to his daughter on her getting married, and going away from him. It's my opinion.
May God fulfill your hope! Amen.
