Preparation...preparation....just getting ready for the pounce. Just hoping that all the pieces fall into place and they get to Tania in time. As for Colin, can I help beat him? LOL

Caught up (again!)

~ you used 'mates' twice in as many paragraphs. Might change the second to 'friends' or 'cohorts'. I love 'mates' but it is repetitive.
~with short, almost robotic, jerks, >> Okay, I'm no comma queen and I havn'et gotten my certification for editing yet, but is the second comma needed? It seems distracting to me. I ought to go take a peek at the rules, but it's late and I'm bone-weary. lol. Just thought I'd ask.

So...You're writing the next chapter right now, right? lol. Loving this!
Blessings. Have a great Wednesday!

No, you haven't caught up! There is one more, part 19, waiting in the wings, still paying until tomorrow!! And then part 20 comes on Sunday. Then you will have caught up. Lol.
I'm taking your advice on board and will go and change the one of the mates. I hadn't noticed that, and I'll take another look at that comma. I'm not a comma queen, either. :) Thank you, my friend, for another of your lovely reviews. Warm hugs again. :)) Sandra xxx

Hi again, Chris, no, she hasn't given him her password to get the rest of her work. I've just left a short synopsis on part 19 for you, I think you missed part 10 and 11 which explains things. Thanks again for reading my story, and for your continued support, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

So often these scenes of violence are followed up by a remarkable recovery. You have made the situation real by showing the extent of Tania's injuries and their effect on her. The fact that she needs medical aid ups the ante. Time is of the essence.
Grant, too, is made believable by the way he recognises and uses the skills of those around him. Let's hope Lorna comes up with a good idea.
Your narrative runs smoothly, the tension remains high, and I feel empathy for your characters. They are carefully individualised, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Looking forward to the next part.

What a lovely review, Tony, thank you so much. Tomorrow's posting sees things moving faster. I'm struggling with a chapter a bit further on, which must be believeable to work. I'm so pleased you are still enjoying this story, it's way out of my comfort zone, but isn't that what we do? Thank you for the golden star, my friend, you have started my day with a smile. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

This is another great chapter. I really like how this book is developing. Are you branching out into Adult books now? If so, that is so cool. It takes a talented writer to do both lol. I wrote a kids story once. It took so much out of me, I swore, never again. Thank you for sharing and stay safe.

Thank you so very much for the lovely 6 stars, my friend!!
I seem to go from tiny tots, to toddlers, to my teenage grandson, and adults and back again! lol. I do like a change now and again. I wrote my first adult books on here starting in 2017 with my time-travel trilogy. Two women were the protagonists all the way through. Then I wrote four books for my grandson, rather more science fiction. Before all that, I wrote loads of children's stories and poem/stories. One day I'll settle down and concentrate on one genre ... or not! This book is way out of my normal writing zone, but it's fun. Thank you for being such an encouraging friend. WArm hugs, :)) Sandra xxx

Torturous! You certainly convey her agony in graphic detail. Trying to set her broken arm--I've heard that process is excruciating--I can see her biting through her tongue. Please, get her out ASAP.

A perfect chapter, Sandra. Just enough tension, and a very believable response from Tania as she assesses her injuries. I'm glad Grant is sorting out Monica's security as well - who knows what that tow rag might do if he's desperate. I can't wait to read on!

I have to admit, I really like your story. I sure hope Grant finds his mystery friend, Tania. For not knowing her before, only through his brother and her blueprints, I hope he does apologize to her as he thought she was a thief.

Hello Sandra,
This is an excellent chapter setting up the first encounter with Colin.
It seems much depends upon a question about the plans to make Colin go back to see Tania, and no one has any idea what that question is.
Lorna to the rescue. Maybe she should be in charge. (like Miss Marple)
Obviously, Colin is way past the point letting Tania go. He'll have to get rid of her, murder me thinks.
The SAS trio better be as good as Grant suggests.
Well done, my friend.
Best wishes.
Robert
