Wonderful poem. The form is different, but good. I liked how each line in each stanza rhymed on the end words. Awesome!!! The picture was a perfect choice for this message.

I like the rhyme scheme of this poem, as well as the fact that it flows well.
The picture is lovely; doves are often symbolic of the Spirit in Scripture, so it fits the poem very well. I'm glad we have a God who always answers our prayers; sometimes it's not in the way we envision, but He always works in our best interests.

Dear Rebekka, thank you for your comments and review. I think God listened to me back in the 1980s, when I was turned down for SSI unearned income because I refused to dress in rags and paint stains to get the money the way my social worker told me to do. Then the mental health system wasn't going to give me an even lower income, general relief (welfare) because they were forcing me to see a therapist and I refused to go. The welfare office said "I'm simply going to close your case..." Then an inpatient from the mental hospital that I was refusing to go to for outpatient therapy committed suicide in a canal (June 1980). I called welfare office the next day and they said they were going to give me the money. God works in mysterious ways - what was a tragedy for some people turned out to be a blessing for me. I don't know where I would be today if that incident hadn't happened.
