A very well-written spiritual poem. Our soul is an everlasting entity that cannot die, and it is send to bodies to carry it through each life until the body dies, then our soul needs another body.

Though reincarnation is hard to accept, I do believe we live many lives, author. :) The reason being that in our DNA we can travel all the way to Adam and Eve. And this is the result, "Each life we live brings us closer to God, every life draws back a curtain." This is a good offering for the Spiritual Contest. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. Yes I agree that it all started with just two, we are really all linked together like family. I believe in the concept of reincarnation, I don't think it contradicts the book of genesis. Thank you for sharing. :)

Excellent entry for the Spiritual writing prompt contest. You fulfilled the rules of writing a poem of spiritual in nature.
I believe reincarnation could be possible. I believe our essence or spirit and soul never dies.

Whew! That message was powerful. The stanzas were all consistent in their flow. The rhymes were great. My favorite of the stanzas was:
I do not fear death, it's only a step,
my soul will move on as it may.
Until comes the time when God calls me home,
and then it's with Him I will stay.
I love forward to that rapture myself and an eternity with God.
