I exercise on my exercise bike. Sometimes I average losing a few calories and then if I go a few more miles, its over my goal. Wow! I know how you feel, soon we will be able to go outside and get some fresh air walking.

I heard something about in California if you even walk around your yard you must wear your mask. Here in Texas you can walk outside, as long as you're social distancing without a mask.

I enjoyed reading and reviewing your informative post, Iza. What you described probably has befallen on many. It is great to get out in the fresh air--esp after being cooped uo for so long.

May I suggest ~
that had the same idea, so[ it became overcrowded . . . ] become overcrowded and not fun

. . .fooling myself that I can [ could ] do . . .

Take care.
Respectfully, Jan

I think we all, including us introverts, are being affected by this pandemic. Our yoga class was cancelled because our instructor is 77 years old and her husband insisted she quit. I hope the benefits of being married are keeping her in shape.

I guess we all have an excuse for being out of shape, with Covid around the place, then we all have a very good excuse to avoid the gym. Beautifully written Iza, an excellent post, blessings Roy

The list of frustrations goes on and on through the pandemic. We can't even exercise because the halls of the building are full of people with the same idea. There's nothing but marriage for exercise. I liked the part when you sneeze and think its corona. nothing but the usual panic attack. We are all a little jumpy today about the coughs and sneezes. estory

I may have to go through some of the previous chapters of this book to read of some of the other experiences. I remember ready part of this book, but it doesn't pop up much.

I found a few instances that would need some punctuation changes.

"Today I went to the library, and I felt like"- I would put a comma after Today.

"My legs were shaking, I guess the walk from my improvised office to the fridge and bathroom, couldn't qualify for quality walking."- I would would a semi-colon after shaking and remove the comma after bathroom.

"idea, so become overcrowded and not fun anymore." - I think here you'd want to change "become" to "it became." The tense sounds better.

"I had a couple of two weeks when I dragged myself to the swimming pool"- I would reword this sentence to say something like, "For two weeks one year, I dragged myself to a swimming pool."

Ah yes, what are they calling it...the COVID 25! :) I'm a hiker but in the past year haven't gone out much, the trails and parks are now way overcrowded from those who decided to take up the sport! Still, that is only an excuse as there are other options. Your story definitely rings true though, of the extent of our days being from the laptop, to fridge, bathroom and bed! Thanks for sharing!
