when I lived in Florida...was laying in the yard at night...and watch for falling stars...and making a wish when I would see one...

I like the thought of diamond studded velvet, Sally. It seems so luscious and elegant. The turn where you address the lover is a great addition and is juxtaposed perfectly in placement. Well done.

That's a cool picture. "diamond-studded velvet" is a very creative description of a star studded sky at night.
I love the exact version of that song. As a child, I wondered how the singer was able to sing so softly and reach those notes.
