The formatting of the photo in relation to the copyright info and the first paragraph is a little bit confusing. Some of the question marks in the first sentence are really nice, but some other ones are a bit confusing.
"Until wife became nothing but a charity!" -->I am confused with what this sentence means.
This piece seems more like a poem than a non-fiction horror writing. The inverse sentence structure can be effective, but it comes off as pretty confusing.
Overall, a bit confused with the piece. I think a step is considering more having this as a series of poems instead of a prose.

I like the picture of the oriental head in amongst trees as it conveys mystery and something a bit worrying.
Not sure of the cast - is Brenda the mother or wife of Christopher?
