Chris,
A really simple piece that qualifies for the minute contest AND made me smile. It follows all the rules and offers some unexpected moments. I don't do many jigsaws - but I've noticed when I DO, I get the bug and want to do more. haha
Thanks!

A fun minute about your activities here that are keeping you busy Christine. Not sure about the use of the word "done" as I think you could think of a better word there, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

A very well-written minute poem about the joy of writing and creating poetry is something that we enjoy doing even without rewards it is still rewarding to the soul.

Hi Joanne Thank you for your review and I have just discovered Paint by numbers and find them so therapeutic I know it is cheating but they are also very intricate in detail so takes hours to do
I also like copying comic covers and have quite a few
Not too good at free hand drawing but have a go
But writing poetry and occasionally a story is my first love
Thanks for your good luck wish also Cheers Christine

The poetry writing and tea drinking parts resonate with me, but I have NO talent for painting and drawing! Your minute poem is correctly-written, except for "draw" and "more," which don't rhyme, and delightful.

-Good to see you, Chris.
-Nice artwork and your
note is appreciated.
-You have written a
good minute poem
about your joy in writing.
-Effective imagery and rhyme.
-The mood is upbeat as you
"sing and dance, take a chance!"
-I also like the 'jigsaw' reference.
-A very good concluding verse, too.
-It is a good entry; good luck.

Cheers and thanks for the good luck we shall see Cheers Chris
-
You are very welcome, Chris. Nice change with jigsaw! I updated your review:) Hope you are doing well. Are you still doing any nursing?
-
Hi Pam Thanks again and yes still doing some shifts in nursing have had a month off over this sumner/ xmas break
Am going back this week Just doing nurse bank shifts so I can choose when I want to work
Will probably do 2 to 3 shifts a week mainly in the Day procedure ward or in Emergency Dept. Both busy but I keep my hand in and can cope despite being an old 68 yr old veteran nurse
LOL will see this year out then retire Cheers Chris
-
Thanks for sharing, Chris. I didn't remember if I had asked you so it is in your message box, too! I am sure the retirement is well deserved, and your contribution to the nursing field is a credit to it. Did you get the vaccine yet?
-
No vaccine for me until it is safe also it is not being given out here in Australia until Feb/ March
-
We are scheduled for April.
