Oh our poor girl..yup Colin is a bad one! Grant and his buddies seem to be on top of things so I hope the plan works and they can get to Tania before it's too late. Smiles

I'm actually sitting on edge now from reading the chapter. I'm wanting to see if Grant's plan works out and what is going to happen next. 17 chapters in, so I know the book will go longer than this. No errors that I found in this chapter either.

Hello again!
~GREAT description of her headache. Kinda made me wince.
~There darn sure BETTER be a knight in shining armor coming to her rescue! We're all counting on it as much as she is!
~Nice detail with the sweat stinging the cut on her eye!
~getting her on board >> I'm surprised he's still worrying about that. It seems like he would be more focused about worrying whether or not she's alive, rather than a business deal. Just a thought. :)
~Oh! Maybe he's getting close to finding her!
~ You did an horribly excellent job of describing Collin's brutality and Tania's injuries. Well done.
Blessings and hugs. I've got to get off to the next chapter! And then, I think, bed. I became a grandmother again today -- number 12! Another little girl, and I'm hoping to get to facetime with momma and daddy tomorrow so I can see her. Darned Covonavirus is keeping anyone but mom and dad out of the hospital, so I can't even go oooh and aaah through the nursery window. But she's safe and healthy, as is her mom, so I cannot complain too much. :)

Cogratulations on becoming a grandmother yet again!! 12! It's the same here when it comes to visiting in the hospitals. So annoying, isn't it? Yes, you're right about Grant worrying about getting Tania on board. I'll sort that. :) Thank you so much, Debs for going back again to catch up. I do appreciate it, because your reviews are so detailed ... and fun. :)) Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you so much, Sally, for this lovely review, and that lovely sixth star. That was a very kind thought, and I really appreciated it. We'll see, but I don't think it will happen. Sending you a humongous hug. I'm off to bed now, but will be catching up with your chapters, (and everyone elses) in the morning.
I'm so glad we're friends. xxx Sandra x

After reading your story today, you will make it to the top. This story is so good that a person cannot put it down. At least I'm doing some catchup work reading it. I like your characters.....plots. Good thing they are only fictional.

Hi Sandra,
This is moving along very nicely indeed. There's a good juxtaposition between the two separate scenes here. Only if Tania can hold on that long....
grabbing a fist full of hair and raising the piece of wood ready to strike. - I would use fistful here, otherwise he's grabbing a fist which contains a lot of hair! lol
'You little wild-cat,' he bellowed. - I know you're going for a clean write but this made me laugh. It's not what I'd be calling her...
began tapping it on the desk. The silence that followed hung heavily - I get the meaning here but if he's tapping the pen it isn't silent. I get they're not talking.
All the best

I laughed my socks off at this review. First, the fist full of hair, and then the 'wild-cat' and yes, you're right, a much stronger word would have been said. There is some language I just can't use. One of which is now freely used through all age groups. It's one of my hate words, I can't say it or write it. It now reads... 'You little bitch!'
That, and those like that one, is fine with me.
Finally, I removed the tapping pen. I think this was the funniest review of them all. Another huge thank you, my wonderful friend. :)) Sandra xx

OH, Linda, I'm so sorry to hear your mom is back in hospital! That doesn't sound good that she isn't eating, I hope they can sort her tummy out and find out what's going on. You must be so worried. PM me or email me when you get more news.
Thank you so much for another of your shiny sixes, and another of your wonderful reviews. I look forward to reading them because the have me laughing all the time. And being the first one to be killed by her laptop! You are a nutter, LOL, but such a funny one.
You take care of you, my dear friend, you'll be no good to anyone if you wear yourself out, and it would really upset me to know you are ill.
My shingles decided to spread a bit more, so the ironing board will be up for a lot longer now. Never mind, I know they will go eventually. (best do!!) I'll keep you all in my prayers and hope your mom will soon be sent home and eating.
Love you more than the truck loads, :)) freight train load! Warm hugs, my dear friend. xxxx Sandra xx

I'll let you what they say about mum...
I know she misses my dad...and my brother does the best he can do...she is always in my prayers...
well I've never had my name in lights...but if I die by laptop...maybe they'll make a movie about me...they make them about everything today...hmmm...
I'm so sorry your shingles have spread my amazing friend...I was hoping they would be gone...sigh...
you take care and move slowly...and I'll email you...love you high, love you low...love you fast, love you slow...everyway you could go...and bunches of laptop warm hugs back at you...Linda xxoo

Sandra,
You have the touch. I admire your writing and I'm sure I could learn much from you. I liked your dialog and the easy to read nature of your sentences. Many strong phrases....such as....'The last remnants of fight crumbled'.

Hello Sandra, another chapter and quite brutal. I knew when Sonia had those grandiose ideas how she would ground Colin with the table leg it simple would not work. But the start of this chapter is severe. Poor Tania is in a mess, mentally and physically - her arm, ouch! The plans Grant is concocting - we shall have to wait and see.
Now to you Sandra, how are you? Is your pain easing a bit? Take care, stay safe and keep smiling LOL! Love Dorothy xxx

HI Dorothy, thank you so much for this lovely review. It was a bit on the violent side, wasn't it. I took ages writing it. No, she isn't strong enough to handle someone like Colin.
I'm learning to cope. Using my ironing board to put the laptop on so I don't have to sit and crunch up my waist. I've been wearing Graham's oversized Southampton Tshirts, they are the type that are supposed to be framed. Well they are perfect for being able to wear over my shingles. Being in lockdown means no one is coming to visit!! Lol. Thank you for asking, my friend. Warm hugs, and much love. Sandra xxx
