It's great - the angle taken on the 2-5-2 prompt - why not strut a little on the feathered stage and turn a few hen heads - makes us laugh too - a much needed medicine !

Editorial comment only: I prefer using serif fonts for all my FS posts. To set off your last line, I would have added ... or some squiggle after your middle line.

    I agree those feathers are beautiful .. I enjoy spending time on you tube choosing my pics... it s fun.

    Off late I have done some entries using serif, like you suggested awhile back ..

    I ll try to remember and keep it as a norm

My sister loves roosters and has been collecting them in various forms for years. (imprinted plates, statuettes, etc) My vote placed your contest submission in a tie for second place.

    Thanks so much for your vote .. I have a friend who also collects... galli ... in ceramic and cement.

    I bought him one sizeable piece which he cemented on one of his front gate pillars in stone ( biggrin)

    I wrote it to make people laugh ..( biggrin)

    they do walk around as if they are aware that they have beautiful feathers, though...
