Patricia,
This is a well done loop poem about how we all feel about the pandemic. I agree that hugs are one of the things I miss the most after not seeing family. Though I do know a couple of people who don't like being hugged.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

You have spoken the plea of everyone. This becomes a universal poem. I have fantasized hugging a friend and just not wanting to let go. This becomes a universal poem. The reader will definitely identify. Well expressed.

I know it seems that we live in a cage or cave and the more we stay alone, the more we slip into depression:"cold and wanting to reach out for hugs,
hugs that are necessary for healthy lives
lives that are seriously in need of things
things turn our lives back to normal,
normal so we'll not say, "I am tired."" Thank you for sharing and stay strong my friend.

This is beautifully written. I agree with you, I just want Covid to end so people can see each other again and get back to their normal lives. As always I love your work here. God Bless

I totally understand. We couldn't stop in and visit with my older daughter but just stood on the porch and talked with our masks on with our grandchildren. I completely agree that I miss being able to hug my little ones. Great job with your loop poem!

I agree wholeheartedly with your well-written sentiments, Patricia. I am tired, too. However, in spite of the weariness, I am still social distancing and safety.
Unfortunately, where I live, people are no longer practicing social distancing and safety. Thus, the number of COVID cases are VERY high.

Thanks for your review. I just found out yesterday that my son0in law in KS has covid. There seems to be a lot of it where he works. My daughter also works there so I am hoping she does not get sick.

I will pray for your son-in-law's recovery. How is he doing?
-
He is doing well and thankfully his lungs are clear. He has never smoked so he should do well, MY daughter has a pace maker in her heart so she is somewhat at risk.
-
I will be praying for her, Patricia.

Thank you.

Your loop poem makes great sense. I believe many feel the same way. Your words flow smoothly, the repeated word adds more to the meaning--not just a repeat, and the overall sentiment is so true.
[of course for a contest, the rhyme scheme would have to be followed, but since this isn't, I say bravo
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

I'm sure we can all agree to this being so tired of all the restrictions. I know they're necessary to get this under control, but it'd be nice to go out do things without having to worry if you're going to get sick. I now know what a germaphobic person goes through, poor things.

This tells how we all feel especially after nearly a year of masking, distancing and isolation.
I agree we are all so tired. Well done in expressing just how tired we are.
I enjoyed the read. Very well said and done.

We all feel the same about it Patricia, we have a dire emergency in the UK and the deaths have risen with this new strain. People are not being vaccinated fast enough and one woman in her eighties was due to have the vaccine within a day and contracted the virus and died before she had the chance to be immunised. I have been so afraid of the virus that I have stayed inside my house and not ventured anywhere since it was all announced. Stay safe, we will get through this Patricia, your poem is poignant and we can all identify with your words here, love Dolly x
