What a wonderful poem about a finch. Amazing imagery and visuals. I can almost see the bird from your words. Great presentation and artwork.

My only peeve is the second line where you used "fly" and its derivative "flying" - which is almost a repeat. For a poem of that size, especially it being a contest poem, it might be a problem. I suggest possibly finding a substitution for "flying".

Just a suggestion. I enjoyed this poem and with you luck in the contest.

-Nice image and

-I think most birds are "full of
