Very well written, expressing a human desire to be wanted and needed. Sad to think that anyone would have to feel that way. Writing in a journal helps but doesn't really solve the problem.

I enjoyed reading this poem, but the change in formatting threw me for a bit of a loop.
The first two stanzas had a lovely rhythm and rhyme but by the third, 'rule' seemed like a bit of a stretch to rhyme with Ruth. By the fourth stanza you'd given up rhyming altogether and it seem like less of a poem and more of a complaint.
I loved the final stanza - the content and the structure. Great finale.
