You really brought Quentin R. Kirk's poetry to life with how you integrated his phrases amidst your own. I got a feel for his verses dealing with varied subject matter, and I also appreciated how poetically you write yourself, particularly in this piece: "...this book's poetic jewels are centered like warm-hearted star-candles in a respectful and often reverential pattern of fine flickering to illuminate..."
The one spot where I cringed was at the end, where you referred to 'a few typographical errors'. That is usually an issue in self-published work, where proofreading is not done professionally. Errors should be found and remedied in drafts. I always find it most distracting, and an admission of not paying enough attention to detail, when typos are evident in a supposedly finished production.

Thank you for your thorough review. I suspect a dear Mexican friend or his wife or maybe someone else did the typing and typesetting with the publisher.

Self-publishing is often done on a shoestring budget and friends and family's help is very useful labour.
