I like the snowman shape as you tell us about our weather through winter's perspective. I like the picture of children going in for a cup of cocoa and then back out into the snow. Very well done.

A most enjoyable read about the inevitable onset of that chilly winter time of year and some of the fun and frolic for the kids - it's a beautiful tableau of the season

This is so cool for a club entry. Doing a snowman shaped poem and carrying it out as you have done takes a bit of skill and you have accomplished it fantastically. I love it. Thanks for sharing this style.

It always takes me forever to get the shape right, but it's fun to do. Thank you so much.

This is a very clever and well-written poem, following as it does the shape of a snowman. It helps my imagination, as where I live we don't have snow! Our winters are relatively mild. So I enjoy reading about winter and his goals to keep children happy and excited.

We don't have winter where I live so I have to image snow as well. FL did have snow a few times up in the panhandle near GA, but I live far from there. Our winters are about 2 weeks and it may get into the 30s at least once. I love it, but my co-workers bundle up like they are in the Antarctic. It's so funny. I don't even wear a sweater. Thank you so much.

Your poem it goes the full cycle: "As night flakes begin to fall, on a snow covered branch a white owl calls,"Whoo?"
And I answer, "It's just me again. It's my time. Time for Winter to begin" Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.
