Not having seen the movie, I don't know the references, but I'll take your word that this is clever. My naughty mind tells me that wax off=whacks. That is indeed crossing the line.

Thank you for the great review, Elizabeth. The old guy taught the kid how to block by making him do work. He had him wax his cars and he showed him how to apply and buff the wax, saying "Wax on, wax off. " The motion of waxing is the same motion the kids uses to block punches and kicks. But yes, I was making a naughty joke out of it. Lol. I really appreciate the generous stars, Elizabeth. Thank you again.
