well, you won 2nd with your account of your FS year, which means you have a lot of people who feel similarly, apparently. I was disqualified because I had a brief author's remark. It was Christmas and I wasn't able to get back and remove it, or tell FS that I couldn't. Ah, well, such is life.
at any rate, congratulations on being recognized and also for placing.

Wow, I'm sorry about that, Katherine. I was busy and didn't get to reviewing everyone until the contest was in the booth. I would have gave you notice about that. I know the author notes weren't a big deal but didn't even catch it until you mentioned it. I'll pay more attention next time. Your entry was hilarious and I surely wouldn't have let it get disqualified without letting you know. That was fault on my end. Again, sorry about that.

You have used the literary techniques well. I like your alliteration. You will draw the reader in if they are a member of FanStory. This would be a good discussion starter.

This parody was good, but I feel like work about FanStory is overdone. I also tried to sing the parody to the tune of the 12 Days of Christmas, and the second line "and a contest that took no brains at all" was clunky and difficult to fit to the tune. The rest of the parody was okay.

Well this is why many are leaving unhappy fro fan story. They are disallusioned by trying to make a go of it.Yes we have lost so many of our fanstory friends unexpectedly. My heart goes out to their families. And friends.I for one will miss them. They maybe gone but will never be forgotten!

Well..I must say, there is much truth to this funny parody. I have gotten some enjoyment and it has been interesting but I will be leaving at th end of January for many of these reasons-I m not upset, i just realise what it is.
