It sounds like the need a new artificial tree but are unable to buy one now.
Making the best they can out of the situation. No matter what they will have a Merry Christmas.

I love our artificial tree! :) We just packed it away this week. Last year we had it up until May. My husband waited until I came back from Port Townsend and could help him dismantle everything.

I just had to buy a new artificial tree this year because I had to tape some branches on and only half the prelit lights were working. So it was probably dangerous.
I decorate and dismantle alone because my husband is Jewish.
