Excellent poem.
You certainly can associate them to our pandemic. We lost 300,000 Americans. How many more? We need the vaccines to save us.
May God help us.
I love this piece writing.

Thank you for this great review. Much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed. I agree we desperately need a way out of this poorly understood pandemic. Despite (or maybe because of) poor understanding I can't help writing about it every so often. Stay Safe. Katherine

A very well-written 7/7 poem in addition to the multi-author Renga book about the virus that brings more questions than answers and we seem not to reach the end of it yet.

Although a serious matter (or matters), your use of the play on mites/mights is a fun one in this great addition! ;) :) Thanx for sharing, Lady Kat -- and good to see your smile again! ;) Yvette

Hello, Katherine,
Excellent entry for the renga book. Good syllables count and connection between lines. I like the presentation too. Mites are terribly annoying. Well done! Thank you very much for adding a chapter.
Hugs,
Gypsy

Your posting is very meaningful to me, Katherine, because I am allergic to dust mites--dead or alive. They are everywhere and we cannot escape them. Your two-line poem says a lot in just a few words. Thank you for sharing!
(Hope you are well and safe this holiday season and that the joy it offers will fill your heart.)

Thank you for this fine review, I am glad you enjoyed the poem. Do your allergies mean that my authors notes are wrong and I should tone down the not lethal?
I am still in France, unable to join my parents. It's tragic. So unfortunately I am not really looking forward to the holiday season (which is hard on my poor daughter).

This couplet, Dangerous Enemies, for the renga, takes the unseen enemies concept to the actual unseeable creatures that invade and are hard to eradicate.

Because we never know what lurks around the corner, our fear is multiplied by not being able to see it. This pandemic changed the world, but won't keep us down. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Katherine.
Using the category of dangerous enemies, your two verses are well done. I particularly like the use of homonyms in the second verse. That makes the reader pay attention.

I'm glad you were able to learn about this form of poetry from what was originally a launch by Gypsy Blue Rose.
And thank you for your concern.
