Hi Misty, the poor woman has all kind of nightmares what it would mean to bring a child into her deprived world. II can understand why she perceives it as a nightmare. Very well written indeed. Ulla:)))

    Thank you so much for such a marvelous review and your wonderful six-stars. Anna doesn't want anyone to have to go through what she did. She promised to protect the baby, but knows she can only do so much.
    Thank you again for such a wonderful review, all your help, support and friendship. It always means the world to me, take care.

I guess these things are genuinely fears that may or may not happen. What happened to our heroine is a situation that can happen, by design, or indeed, by an accident of location, having a baby, and have the dpdear of possibility is very real. Well done, blessings Roy

    Thank you so much for your continued support. It always means so much to me. I'm glad you found the chapter to be realistic, relatable to some. Poor Anna has already been through so much. Now she's torn between what she knows is right and her own desires. It's like the world won't give her a break.

Misty Dawn,

I can only imagine what fears and concerns this poor woman would have after the life she's led. Bless her heart! I would almost think that A would have gotten a vasectomy or she would have her tubes tied or something -- to ensure they could enjoy themselves without risk.

Notes, if I may:
1.) Believe that (i)t'll work out when I know the horrid fate the poor child

2.) As much as it killed me vanquished what little hope I had built.
--> edit for clarity?

Thanks so much!

    Thank you so much for reading my chapter and catching my mistakes. I changed the last line to As much as my conclusion killed me, I finally decided that I couldn't ask a child to live the life I had." I hope that helps.
    I don't know if either would be an option. She's an illegal being held in a compound against her will in 1994. She was only 15 at the time. Present day, where she talks to the audience she's 31. She was taken from her village in 1989. She was first sold for sex and then brought to the field.

This is a heart-wrenching story. I can imagine the panic one would feel in that situation. You write about it so well. I know she will do something to make sure her child doesn't have the life she has had. As always, I look forward to the next chapter.

    Thank you so much for such a sweet review and for all your praise. Anna has become such a strong character that she often seems almost real. Don't worry, I know she's not.

Good, a very well written and moving chapter. You could feel her anguish and emotions in every line. It was stark in comparison to the doctor's. Good contrast.

notes:

I {tried} to judge the seriousness of my situation by the expression on their {face}. That only {made} things worse.
