I really really liked this. Maybe because I identified a bit too much with it, since interrupting others is something i struggle doing too. Beautifully portrayed.

I have the same flaw, read "Suffice it to Say." We'll, do better, because we recognize the flaw of overzealous talking out of turn and interrupting when others are speaking.

It looks like you have already made your 2021 New Year's resolution. It's a good one. No one likes to be interrupted. You make it very clear what your problem is and how you plan to solve it.
Some suggestions:
(I) never let speakers
It is a (mite) too late
The speaker's train of thought . . . Rephrase to the speaker Ihav been distracted.

Very good. Its always brave to do a self examination, and you did it by writing a solid piece. I was always told God gave us two ears and one mouth so we would listen twice as much as we talk. Great job, good luck in the contest.
