I was quite surprised your entry had not receive a vote yet ..
It's an interesting topic and describes well the traits of those who are born under its influence.
I like the rhyme towards the end : friend // end.
The opening verse is the my favorite.

This is a lovely idea but I'm afraid it is headed for disqualification because it is non compliant with this rule of the contest:
'Create a poem where the first letter of each line spells out a word.'
Those single words in between the acrostic lines will be seen as lines. You need to bring them into line with the preceding acrostic line in order to avoid that fate.
I should give about three stars because of the non compliance but it is so easy to put right and as a poem it is worth five.

Thanks for your review. I haven't heard anything from the judges as yet. I have seen Acrostics in this form before, can take it out easily enough if it comes to that.

I love reading Acrostic poems! It really is one of the most fun and creative forms out there. The presentation and theme both are unique. This poem also had a great closing and you have chosen your words wisely!

Your image is perfect. I like the color scheme, too. Your word choices are descriptive of a Taurus individual. I understand why you included the single words between the lines. However, I am concerned that those words make this not an acrostic--I'll let the judges decide that one. Best wishes.

Thanks for your comments and concerns Jan. I have seen acrostics written in this form before (not FS) and thought I'd try it, I can take them out if it would make things easier. I seem to be having a hard time with the judges lately.
