Hi Ulla, I like this haiku very much and what a lovely tribute to Jan. It seems very balanced to me, comfortable to read and perfect for the intention of a tribute. Yeah work is especially suitable, too. Hugs, Giddy

Enough time can ease the pain, or everyday pain, of almost everything. The fond memories can keep the hungry birds away to some degree. Then, we just have to look to tomorrow, and try to block out yesterday. Thanks for sharing.

This is a sweet haiku for Jannypan, Ulla. In my own experiences with loss, I have found that precious memories are a soothing comfort and something to uplift me, as I thought about things that happened to us in the past, both small and great. We can leave the bad times, the negative things, back in the past as much as possible, and hold onto our treasured memories. It is a kind thought and a beautiful image, a lovely presentation.

Oh my. Who did Jan lose? ={ This is a lovely haiku about memories. So true, it seems when someone leaves you, the good memories are much sharper. Well done as always.

A great poem and nice layout. Which Jan? As usual these tiny poems want a great long review. The colour scheme is good as well. Can't find any spags this time around.

A beautiful tribute id 5-7-5 form. one very minor point, since this is aimed at a US citizen I would suggest you go for the US option - all three words gglued together as one. This is what the wiktionary says:
'In the United Kingdom and most of the Commonwealth, the spelling for evermore is the usual form. In Canada and the United States, generally only forevermore is used.'
