Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Yes, that's being happy when you are the kind that doesn't give up.
I see you used an idiom, expression that I am familiar with, "Happy is as happy does." This is something a "writer will draw a reader in." (Found this on line).
Your poem is inspirational and I like it very much.
Today we need encouraging thoughts.
Good luck in the contest.

What a nice treat today: a 6 from you! Thanks! Glad you took note of the idiom; one of the best lines from Forest Gump was "My momma says, stupid is as stupid does." Still stays close to the top of my phrases. To be told of causing inspiration is an honor. Bless you and Merry Christmas!

I love the humor and honesty in your posting! Many aspects of 'being happy' do require hard work. You appear to have an enriching, balanced life covering the basics of being alive (a good start), to sport, travel, pets and wife, food and drink, the odd cuddle, and a creative pursuit. Sounds a happy, good life to me!

Sound like you can relate, LisaMay! Indeed it is happy within the bounds of life challenges. Although I have less hair and less money than I had planned for this point, there is laughter. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you for your nice, perhaps redundant review. Glad you stopped by and hope you left happy. That was the point. And, that was the point.
