Thank you PV for reading this poem and for the very nice review. People who do not know how nasty they are, can't appreciate how much of a pest they are. There was a t-shirt in NH - "Black Flies don't bit - they suck!" Thanks again for taking the time to provide some nice feedback.

Thank you Lefthanded Scribe for reading this entry and for the very nice review and thoughts for more. When you are from the New England states, you enjoy when mosquitos appear...the end of Black Fly season. "Black Flies don't bite...they suck!" That saying appeared on a T-shirt and it was a best seller.
