A very creative poem ..love how you compared the writer's block to a stream gone dry ..

We all fear droughts which is a great metaphor to describe when a poet's imagination runs dry and words elude him/ her.

This is a good one - it deserves success. On a free-flowing day words are indeed like rivers carrying thoughts along... but always prone to drying up into the dreaded literary drought.
