Dear, I could truly identify with the feelings expressed in the poem. The pains of true love dashed is unimaginable. Our hope is in the fact that true heart will find peace again though it is burnt. The shame and eternal pain is upon deceptive hearts!. Well articulated! Great work that would touch the hearts of all genuine lovers.

If you wrote this from the heart... you've been there, author. It is a fact that guys are after whatever is freely given. Still, the best defense is... "hold it!" :) Yet, it is hard to remain a saint in today's as well as yesterday's world. This is a good entry for the Love Bites contest. Thank you for sharing.

If you wrote this from the heart... you've been there, author. It is a fact that guys are after whatever is freely given. Still, the best defense is... "hold it!" :) Yet, it is hard to remain a saint in today's as well as yesterday's world. This is a good entry for the Love Bites contest. Thank you for sharing.

Very nicely done. This is a powerful poem that speaks not only from the heart but there is also wisdom in it. The poem is excellent from a technical standpoint. Natural rhyme. This flows so easily. But the emotion is what pulls you in. The "realness". Great job!

An excellent poem, written with great depth of feeling. It absolutely speaks of love gone wrong, and the dreadful scarring from the deep wounds to the heart. Well written, and good luck in the contest.

This is a knock out entry for the contest! You are so very talented. I can feel the hurt and anger in every word. The last verse reminds me of the song "lesson in leavin" by Dee messina. Excellent work! Love it!

Very good. Sadly to many relationships are just like your work spoke of.
Over half the songs on the radio are about these type hook ups. Technically sound, good rhyme scheme, solid art work. Great job, good luck in the contest.
