Great entry for the Love Bites writing prompt contest. It's a poem about love gone wrong.
When love is not reciprocated it can be very painful. You did a good job.

This is a good write for the 'Love Bites' poetry contest. You dug deep into the pain one often feels when love does not go the way one presumes it will go.

Is this poem true? It is a heartache if it is....love that is lost or that goes wrong, can be very sorrowful. When a person gets hurt it takes a long time before you get over the aches.

This is a winner, if ever there was one, for it fits the prompt for the Love Bites contest perfectly. The flow of lines is very smooth and easy to read. The content is such that one is easily able to relate to it if one has had a broken heart sometime in the past. Or, I guess, the present. Well done.

That was heartbreaking. Unrequited love could be agonizing and really hurts. This reminded me of my sonnet "Ashes of Lost Hope", which was written for Unrequited Love contest.
Poetically, it was flawless. I enjoyed your iambic pentameter and your rhymes.
This should do very well in the contest, good luck in the booths.

The sheer pain of love lost is explored here with all its disappointment 'scars are left, from cuts you made so deep'- love is such a great teacher in tandem with being a taskmaster - thanks for sharing

These are strong profound and powerful words and I can identify with them, I have been stung by love that burned in the flames as you describe here, but I have come out of it with no regrets as the experience has taught me so much.
