This 5-7-5, She Fought Bravely, has the proper formatting and finds that the ambitions of the winter have been met again and autumn leaves the field.

Oh wintery cold Mystery Author..
This frosty haired writer is shoveling a sixer your way. Great entry for this contest and I hope that you will write a sequel and resurrect
fall please.

Ciao mystery poet..
you now have two votes.

I loved how you described Autumn's eternal battle against Winter's advancement ..

a clash that repeats itself each year and despite Fall's bravery ,she will succumbs to every time.

A great pic which complements well your words ..

It was by far the best of the lot ..

I already knew I was going to vote for it when I read it under the contest page before it even hit the booth..

I love the way you use strong words to depict this annual battle. Given the instructions in the prompt, you might think of including some items from winter's arsenal. For example, ice pellets, frozen spears, blinding snow..

Good luck in the contest.

Stay safe

Blessings Julia

Thank you for the great review, Julia. Yes, I'd put more in there if I weren't so restricted by the contest syllable count of a 5-7-5. I really appreciate the gracious stars and good luck wishes. I'm glad you liked this little piece. Have yourself a wonderful night.

I thought this was a good solution to the challenge to write about a winter storm when verbally you only have time and space for a gust of wind. You have used your seventeen syllables to very good effect.

Thank you for the great review, Pantygynt. Yes, merely a breeze of space and time is all they gave me to play with. Lol. I really appreciate the generous stars, friend. Have a good one.

Dear Mystery Writer,

This is a powerful poem. In just a few words/syllables you have described the ransacking, murder, and reoccupation of the seasons. *smile* And with such delightful images! haha

Thanks and good luck~
