Hello, Roy,
I was adding a chapter today and I noticed your chapter. I check the book once in a while to see if someone added a chapter and I missed yours because for some reason it is showing as prologue. Don't worry about it. It's fine the way it is. I am just sorry that it took so long to review.
A great chapter. I like how you joined nature with divine intervention. The holy water satori is excellent. a very spiritual verse. Thank you for adding to our book.

This is a beautiful addition to the book of Renga. Rainfall is a blessing to places that have experienced a drought. It is like holy water, and the answer to prayers. Lovely wording, and the last line is especially powerful.
The picture fits the mood perfectly. judi

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HAIKU! Roy, this paints such a picture as one reads - phrases like 'thirsty sun-parched land' and 'holy water' are rich and vibrant. This is probably the best haiku I've read in a long time.
Thank you for sharing!
Blessings,
Debs.

This is the first time I've ever heard someone call rain 'holy water' and yet now that you say it, it makes perfect sense. This is a wonderful presentation, Roy. Great thought!

Wonderful 5-7-5 about the gift of rain to the thirsty ground. I especially like the "holy water" as the rain comes from the Hand of God Who provides for all His creatures.

Roy,
I can feel thirsty (literally) and metaphorically (spiritual) while reading your poem. My soul's thirst most of all is quenched by Christ.
An excellent poem, Roy.
God's inspiration for all your poems.

A very well-written haiku in addition to the multi-author Renga book. The rain is always needed to make things in nature grow and flourish and bearing fruit.
