This is a great topic as we in Vermont head into winter. Spring is such a note of hope. It is also my favorite. I remember going on a retreat in fall and sensing Nature letting go and quieting down. There was one old apple that been split by lightning. I grieved that one. But when we went back for a spring meditation that tree was full of leaves.

Yours is a very lovely poem.
I very much like that you extolled the virtues of the other seasons and then highlighted Spring at the end.
The images are really nice.
You did an excellent job.

In the end this is a good write for Spring and I share your love of this wonderful season when the earth comes alive in all its glory. For me, spring is rejuvinating and so uplifting after the long cold winters here.

I enjoyed your poem's build-up to the season you like best - Spring! The activities and atmospheric changes were described well, carried along by a good cadence of rhythm in metre and rhyming.

A very well-written poem about the seasons that come and go at their specific times. The one who are a promise of new life in nature is spring that brings excitement and expectation.

Including all four seasons in your ambient write brought together the joy of each on, but by far my favourite is the summer as I love the warmth and the sunbathing too, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Whoever you are, you have a gift with meter and rhyme! While autumn is my favorite, your verdant description of spring nearly had me breaking out in spring fever...prematurely or way to late! I wonder, is spring truly your favorite? Or did you have to choose it due to the contest guidelines? --Karenina
