Oh my. Poor little thing. It has always amazed me that men think they have the right to do these things. Glad Alejandro came to see her and wants to take care of her. She needs that.

I'm glad Anna got a second chance. She deserves to have someone to love her and help her heal. She probably is broken, but Alejandro might be able to help her. She hasn't done anything wrong. She was just a kid, and she had no choice.

The more you hear her story the more heartache you feel. However, you begin to see how strong she really is. Not many could go through what she did and come out functioning on the other side. She took control of her life and worked hard to make changes. I can feel that in her.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Anna is fiction, but her encounters are from child trafficked survivors. I'm glad the point came across so strongly. I'm hoping his statement might change the direction of someone's life. I'm hoping the book will raise awareness, save a child from having to endure such a horrid fate. Maybe help a survivor.

Hello Mistydawn.
I think you could turn the story to show a successful recovery from the awful circumstances Anna was thrown into. Focus on the relationship between the two and use that avenue for "fleshing" out the emotions that you want to show. Use the story to show how she can have her esteem restored.

This account brings out the long term damage abuse has. It clearly causes PTSD but there is victim blaming that her was doing a bit of, but caught himself. The reader who understands with will be caught up with the characters. The reader will want to say, "No you are beautiful." There might be some healing that comes from people reading this.
