I love this senryu. I remember a comment made to a bully, "you may win the fight, but believe me, I'll get in a couple of good ones that'll hurt you" beautifully written, a good post, blessings Roy

i know its not supposed to rhyme, but the last line should evoke a feeling of a certain kind. i felt in all honesty that your last line fell short, especially the word bruised.
