It flows well and also rhymes naturally.
With an egret facing sunset, you try to convey deeper meaning here. Maybe this is an advice for people who are getting older and frail.

I relate to your poem. To often I let fear control my actions or rather my lack of action, I play it too safe. I need to reach that happy medium. Great entry you should do well in the contest.

Intimidation is bullying in its rawest form and should never be tolerated. I was bullied at work and it took me a long time to learn to cope with it and the bully in question got his comeuppance. Much enjoyed, love Dolly x
