A very well-written Nature 3-5-3 poem about the beautiful show of Autumn leaves of red and green blending in the harvest winds setting the mood for fall's ring.

This poem is a great entry for the Nature 3-5-3 writing prompt. There is truth in a few words. Best of luck in the contest!

Dear Mystery Writer,

(Maybe I recognize you? I'll have to run check.)

This was a fun concept - I mean, the mood ring idea came from SOMEWHERE, right? Why not nature in all her elegance and wonder?

HA! Thanks and good luck!

This is great, you have a very wonderful imagination to think of fall as being " in style ". Very clever, a excellent contest entry. Thank you for sharing and best of luck in the contest.

You brought the colour to life here as Autumn brings an array of delights to please our eye and to inform us of the changing season, a delightful read, love Dolly x

Your last line made me smile. It's been a long time since I even thought about "mood rings." But the red and green together at the same time is something we're seeing on our maples here. I like how you described the wind as "Harvest winds." Best wishes in the contest!

Lovely 3-5-3 poem about the season. Yes, I remember the mood ring very well (revealing my age, lol). I owned one! Always suspected that many factors went into the ring's changing color, besides the wearer's changing emotions (body temperature, circulation, room temperature). Your photo is bursting with color; very appropriate!

Wore it to the skating rink on Friday nights (and every day to Junior High - lol!) Thanks for your review, Mary Kay!

You're very welcome, Anonymous! I wore my mood ring fairly often, as well :-)

Lol, I had a couple of those things, as I'm sure that all little girls in that time period did. Following along your trend with this poem, the trees around my house have all lost their leaves, which would essentially be nature tearing out it's hair. I sympathize nature. I truly do. :D

Thank you for sharing!

Nature has the right idea.... although I'm keeping my hair, I am certainly wearing my rebel clothes these days! Thank you for the review.

Ver, very creative. You made a beautiful metaphor with hardly any words at all...not an easy thing to do. The artwork suits it very well. Best of luck.

Love the short descriptive sentence:) I like the creativity of the analogy of "Falls Mood Ring" I am a fan of succinctness and this was both succinct and metaphorical. Well done.
