This is a fun poem. It sounds like the question a child would ask. The reader is invited to return to their childhood wonderings. Children do know simply what color the wind is. the answers are probably as varied as a box of crayons.

This is an excellent speculative 3-5-3 poem for the contest
on nature. The wind is one of the wonders of nature.
Nice touch with the two rhymes.

I truly think this poem will appeal to young readers because (1) it asks and answers a question many children ask, (2) it has rhyme which children love, and (3) it is short and uses everyday language. Rod
