What a marvelous story - and those people must have been really in love, to have a ceremony in just each other's company and climb the attic in a blizzard to take pictures!
Masterful narrative and imagery. I didn't know about the blizzard of 1977 and it was horrifying. I want to say a prayer for every one of these 29 lives lost that day.

I lived in Long Island, New York, for over 30 years, and now live in Las Vegas, Nevada, away from storms and blizzards (smile). I am glad that you finally decided to remove yourselves from Buffalo and its volatile climate, and moved to Florida. I hope you are happy there.
