What a wonderful and endearing story of true love. How I enjoyed the optimism that made them go through with the ceremony without power but with a romantic candlelit affair.
The blizzard sounded horrible, but even then, they managed to take wedding photos....so adorable.
Loved this story a lot. You wrote it so well.

You really created a dramatic portrait of the couple struggling through the snowstorm to do their marriage vows. A great picture of devotion. I think the attention to the details of the ferocity of the storm, the scenes of driving in the snow, really put us in the scene. estory

They're a lucky couple. When you find your soulmate, you don't let them get away, blizzard or no. Of course, being Canadian, I'd never let a little snow keep me from anything. I'd be stuck inside from November to April. Love the heartwarming story.

It sounds like a movie. I've started my Christmas movie watching and I could just picture this play out, all the excitement and disappointment of the snow, and then the excitement and joyfulness of embracing the snow and making it a small little intimate thing. I love every part of that.

I think my favourite part is the description of them playing on the rooftop after the blizzard had passed.
This story brought back memories of my new husband driving us to our wedding night hotel in the north of England after our late December ceremony. We drove through a blizzard, oh nothing like the one you describe, but a blizzard all the same. In one's early twenties everything is an adventure! God must assign battalions of angels to protect the young. LOL

I wasn't aware that you lived in England at all and so glad to find out about you and your life. I have so many friends that are in the UK. We were very young when we move to Buffalo I was only 21; and Jackson was 22, and had just graduated from college that week. We got in the moving truck as soon as he removed his cap and gown.
