It is so good to hear from you and to see that you are writing again. You could never offend anyone, even me who is called by some "The Cat Lady."
I can understand where the fear comes. Cats are in control, not the human. My grandmother was deathly afraid of them.
I'm not reviewing much lately because I have been taking care of my son's new baby. His wife had an appendectomy and couldn't lift her. That baby lifted my spirits like nothing else has ever done. Hope you are getting back to normal as well.
I love your poem.

How nice to hear from you Debbie, I hope you got the note I sent you. How nice taking care of a new baby. Amy had Jake here, not in Florida. He was here for a month before they went back to Florida. I held him all the time. When Amy would say can I please have my baby I?d say no he?s mine here. You can have him in Florida. Luckily she thought it was funny and we would laugh. Thanks for the good review about my poem. My fear of cats is deep. I?ve worked on it but it?s still there. I bet that baby is good for you! Jake is now 16 months old and has figured out on his own how to Skype. I wasn?t home for a while yesterday and he tried to call me twice. Amy said he was crying and saying Nana Nana. It broke my heart and made me so happy at the same time. Enjoy that time! Thanks again for the review and so good to hear from you.

A very well-written poem about your very rare phobia of cats. No one can blame you if you are scared of cats. There must be something happened involving cats in your past that give you this fear of cats.

My mother told me I was attacked are about age 9 by one of those orange fluffy cats. That probably did it! Thanks for the nice review!

Great poem, I like the topic and the flow and rhyme scheme.
I think it's quite funny when people are afraid of cats, there quite sweet animals. I would have more fear of stray dogs as they can be more unpredictable.

No one took offense, or maybe they just did not review. It was written for the Funny contest, but I screwed up and entered it incorrectly. I lost my 5.5 member dollars on the entry fee, and my poem ended up with the regular poetry. My own fault. C?est la vie! Thanks for the nice review. Terry

Thank you Cynthia! It was supposed to be for the Funny Contest about things you dislike, but I entered it incorrectly and it ended up not in the contest. I can?t say I?m afraid of heights, but I do notice that when I get back to the ground I am more comfortable.We human beings are such interesting things, aren?t we? Thanks for the great review!

Too sneaky for me! My Tom Laughs at me when those cat and dog food commercials are on. When they show how your dog is the ancestor of a wolf, I always say look at that beautiful Wolf. When they show your cat is an ancestor of the Lynx, I always scream there?s that scary Lynx! Thanks for the nice review!
