Great entry for the
Not funny but funny writing prompt contest. It's pretty funny and true for many people. I don't wear make up so it's all the same to me. I don't mind wearing a mask.

I did think the cartoon of the bank robber standing in line wearing a mask, like everybody else, was pretty funny. We need a little humor these days. Thanks for reading.

Your poem is a rather interesting take on covid and mask wearing. In a sense your poem takes on the necessity of wearing a mask which does allow a person to cover a myriad of secrets. I wonder how many people would agree with your assessment.

I am not sure where Burger Burger cam from? I am as confused as you. Unless I screwed up and added a comment from another review an inadvertently attached it to yours in my mind somehow. I apologize for that gaffe.
I did enjoy your piece very much- it made me laugh in places and be reflective in places too.

Oh no! I have to wear those awful masks for at least eight hours a day. I hope my face won't disappear! The zits are bad enough. Now I'm imagining them eating my face. Good luck in the contest.

Wry humor on an apt topic-- priceless punchline -- it will be weird if/when we don't have to wear masks--as for me, I wear makeup sans mask; alas, nobody sees me at a social distance. Fun poem--good luck. Cheers. LIZ

I really do, too. Have occasionally gone without but was mostly just having fun.

Haaaa, this is funny author. But you just never know what is going to happen when you get used to wearing a mask.

I agree with you too. I wear one even though they aren't exactly the most pleasant thing.

Very well written prose about wearing the mask and being free from makeup.
The rhyming was good in telling your tale.
