that is so true....this coronavirus has made us realize that our social distancing is for sure and we need to commuicate with each other at home once in while....if we dare sit by one another.

Hello Iza,
I like this chapter because it will serve as our collective memory of this time. To this end, I would either add the date to the title or alter 'stopped in March' to 'stopped in March 2020'. I know it sounds stupid, but one day we really will forget all the details.

I love this short comparison between humans and dog animal which which took me straight To Orwell's Animal Farm and Napoleon's speech. The former go on living their normal life but think for a moment if they rebelled against their Master like the latter did. Great provocative thought perfectly describing what effectively we all fear!

Hello Iza.

This is a great perspective regarding how the virus has changed our lives. The dogs are doing fine and probably wonder why we are wearing masks.

This is a creative and well written story.

I like your point about dogs, life is the same for them. They do not need a mask and continue on with their usual activities. People are going through a different experience with the virus. Your essay held my interest and gives the reader much to contemplate.

I know exactly what you mean Iza, but things have been more or less normal here for us, although the population in Victoria are going stir crazy, they can't travel more thank 5km from their location, that would be tough. Well done, an excellent post, blessings Roy

Your chapter, Iza, tells it like it is. People have become like zombies. Dogs, on the other hand, haven't changed. They still like to run and play and sniff the air. People just seem to be going through the motions of life. When will we get back some normalcy? Hard to tell what is normal now.
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Respectfully, Jan

Hi, Iza. This little essay is very effective in making its point. Your use of dogs and their behavior comparing to we humans during this carona
crisis is clever and well=written. Bless you. Bob

It's a poignant picture of the world we deal with now. Everyone behind that dehumanizing mask. I loved the contrast between the masked humans and the free dogs, who seem unaffected by the epidemic. It is a stark contrast. Your last line hangs in the air like a sad echo...estory

You nailed it--dogs are blissfully oblivious to the reign of Coronella while we are demoralized--apt mention of remote learning and (sur)real school constraints. Cheers. LIZ
